We would like to say a heartfelt Thank You to everyone who participated in or attended the inaugural BeatleFest on Labor Day. This event was the result of a lot of hard work, liberally sprinkled with a love of great music.
We would especially like to thank Todd and Karin Miller for their extraordinary generosity in allowing the use of the General Store for our venue; Todd’s industrious and ever-agreeable staff, who sacrificed their holiday to feed the multitude; the amazingly talented performers, who did such sterling work with the music; sound gurus Jeff Hamness and Rory Harkins, who managed the huge task of making the musicians audible; Dick Ainsworth, for his superb photograph that graced the t-shirts and posters; Mary Friedel-Hunt, for her generous contribution to publicity; and, finally, to the hundreds of people who attended the performance and who gave such gracious and enthusiastic support. We got by with more than a little help from our friends!
We look forward to BeatleFest 2010 with great anticipation.
Sincerely,
Bruce G. Bradley
